You're invited to join the Santa Cruz Club!
Who are we?
We are a group of West Coast Swing dancers of all ages from Monterey to Scotts Valley who have joined together to make friends and enjoy dancing together, as well as to introduce our community to this wonderful dance form through classes, workshops and dances.
What we do
We sponsor a dance each month, usually the 4th Saturday of the month. Each dance is usually preceded by an hour class taught by a visiting professional (quite often a champion). On occasion we might also bring in a champion or two to teach a day long workshop.
When we meet
Where better to meet than on the dance floor, and that's what we do once a month at our dance. A group of volunteers also gets together once a month for planning and marketing.
What does it cost to join?
Membership is just $25 a year ($15 for students).
What are the benefits of joining?
You save $4 off the cost of each our monthly dances, which means you save $44 over the course of the year if you attend each dance. (We take a month off during the holiday season.) Some of the neighboring WCS clubs will also honor our club card and you'll receive the same club discount at their dances. As a member you can also borrow, free of charge, from our large video library. We have WCS and Nightclub 2-step instructional tapes. But best of all, by joining, you'll be part of our family and you'll be helping to keep these functions going.
How do you join?
Introduce yourself at the front desk at any one of our dances and ask for a membership application. It's that easy because we're easy.

If you would like to be included in our monthly news that announces our monthly dance, please email Kathy.
If you have a special event for which you'd like your own announcement mailed to group, please email the details to Kathy. You can include up to 3 images. Labor cost for this service is $50.

If you have a local dance event you think members on our list would be interested in, we invite you to join our Yahoo Group. There you can post your own event. It is moderated and must be approved, so please make sure it is relevant.
